Now, the Chinese entertainment (film and music) industry is a joke. Used to be good and prestigious 10 years ago. Now, all the awards are just wayang. No credibility. And the speeches and hosts are so immature, because they really cater to the youth audience now. The things they say and their outlook are childish. No class. All the female hosts have the one same character - try to be cute and manipulate their sound to be youthlike. Doesn't matter who is the host, you can expect the same "personality".
Do you know they even send their agents to negotiate for prizes? This is especially true for musical awards. Singers whose agent failed to negotiate for any prizes will not attend the awards at all. So you know what kind of standard they have.
All show, no substance. -

This is not the first time for Fann. I think a few years back she also went up to give away the award. But that time she was alone.
