  Singapore's hopes of striking top three position in football at upcoming SEA Games suffered a blow. A draw held yesterday places Spore in "Group of Death" -> Group B: Vietnam, Indonesia, Laos, Myanmar & Spore.

  sad to say i oredi lose faith in most sports in singapore.....all imported from china...wtf! like that win also not glorious........
  
  furthermore no security in doing sports in singapore....wht is singapore going to offer the sportsman when they got injured and cannot play anymore?? NOTHING!! just a few words of consolation after the sportsman spend half his life training.........

  Used to like watching local sports like bowling (Grace Young), cycling (Shimano team), water polo team and soccer (Fandi, Malek, David Lee and the rest of the gang)....they've tried and some of them have succeeded in bringing glory to their individual fields even w/o that much of a reward in terms of money.....
  
  look at our sportmen of today..... better environment / equipment and cash rewards and they juz fail to make the mark and the same age old excuse rises....more time is needed to nurture them......look at our swimming team(juz a classic sample) it's juz a whole lot of bull i say.
  
  wif so many foreign talent joining our team s'pore nowadays....winning juz doesn't taste that sweet now... sure we can win in table tennis, certain field events but so wat...... even a match today between our lions or young lions wont spur me to watch them on tv, more so to go all the way to the stadium. A string of winnings put them on cloud 9 and their performance will come crashing 2 the ground faster then u can say wat they lost again ??
