  (M - B)2 =/= (M2 - B2)
  (M - B)2 = M2 + 2MB + B2 which makes it more complicated...

  P/a = (M - b)^2
  
  --> (+-)sqr(P/a) = M - b
  
  --> M = [(+-)(sqr)P/a] + b

  P = am^2 - 2abm + ab^2
  -am^2 + 2amb = P - ab^2
  am^2 - 2abm = ab^2 - P
