If you are in its direct impact zone, you won't need any anesthetics. Before it impacts earth, all of us under direct impact will be decintegrated because of the heat generated by its entry into our atmosphere - it's in the tens of thousands of degrees!!
If you on the other side of earth, you're gonna face everything; earthquake off the rictar scale, tidal waves never before recorded in human history, fire storms and the sun will be blocked out.
Dying in upon impact is better than facing the fallout effects. -
