I got a more morbid idea. All the males could be wanking themselves off in the face of meteor crashing in the hope that at least some of the spermies survive to fertilise with an egg so that life will flourish again aftermath?
So those ppl who like to frequent Bar pls refrain and reserve your precious lot for that meteor coming day.....who knows you could be the saviour of we Mankind in the new world -

Maggot, it's much much much worst than that image you just posted.
Not that I've lived through one such event, but just visualize, a meteorite the size of our moon, travelling 40,000 per mile hitting Earth..
Picture it entering our atmosphere, a red glow will ring its frontal intrusion into airspace, this red glow will progressively become white. And by the time it is 30,000 feet above us, we will be already frying from the sheer heat generated by it's burning out core.
If it impacts solid ground, it would very likely bury intself several miles deep, cracking the Earth's mantel, volcanos worldwide will rupture, continents will will quake. The huge displacement of air in our atmosphere will cause a mixture of fire and wind storms. The rubbles and earth it will displace thousands of feet into the sky, will block out sunlight.
Such a scenario can be replicated & witnessed, by firing a rifle's bullet into a tray of ordinary fine sand, while filiming it in slow motion at 100 frames per second. -
