shutter, why are so fascinated with the destruction of earth? but yeah, i rather meteorite hit us rather than worldwide bird flu. heck, even if bird flu doesnt kill us, pollution will.
or maybe earth itself will self-destruct herself and mother Gaia wave us goodbye after Earth dies.Then some fragments of life from earth somehow landed on Mars and then Mars becomes the next earth. Then mother Gaia appears and then goes on a cycle.

You could possibly keep meats fresh for years, or decades, but not a human body and then thaw the person to be somehow - revived.
The formation of ice crystals will damage vital organs; primarily the brain, then liver, kidneys, and worst of all, the spinal cord.
The eye may also be damaged by ice crystals. -
