But it is I believe, a safe distance from Earth. Unless some other asteroid impacts upon it causing it veer closer, then there might be a ptential that Earth's gravitational pull could draw it towards us.
By the way, anyone knows how many kilometers is our Moon from Earth? I believe it has to be closer than our moon for that said asteroid to be drawn in by Earth. -
