If a faith is sure non of its members has commited any of the act the non believers say, then it has the right. But even then, its kinda ironic, using secular laws for someone who is against someone else's spirituality
I am sure, just as Buddhism has fair share of monks who scam others for money and Islam has a number of extremists. Christianity has its fair share of fundamentalists who wouldnt stop preaching on the sly against other faith,

I am not slamming the sedition act any one, I do not have the power to do so. I am here to remind all of you to be mindful of ur words. Christians, muslim, buddhist, taoist, hindu alike. Do not use words that might insult another religion.
Understand this, I am ALL for religious harmony, and I am also against Christians who do not know how to be sensitive and exercise restraint.
It doesn't matter what your beliefs are, or the color of ur skin. In the eyes of the law, all are equal. If you say something that someone finds insulting, distasteful and in violation of the law of the land, prepare to have to answer for your words.
If u find any so called "Christians" that come here and spout nonsense, insults other religions, please by all means, make a police report. But do not engage and stoop to the level of ppl who misbehave. -

And then the idea of a spiritual person actually using secular laws to fight his case, rather than to leave it to the judgement of god, or to karma, or to whatever faith that guy believe in..kinda ironic or sick sense of humour -

We live in a society where many races and beliefs co-exist. I urge all people, to be sensitive when it comes to religious issues.

but no matter what, i realised after sometime laws just cant resolve the issue
if there is something fundamental and inherent problem within members of a faith, it must be resolve at that level

look at the recent topics on evangelism in school, clearly on this point alone people arent that pleased

The determined amount of years certainly indicates that the state of slavery here is like a forced "reform school" for the good of the person, rather than a permanent bondage to completely and unfairly defile the free will of the person for ever. Remember, man is not writing this Bible......God is....and his ways are not our ways. God sees things through a perspective based on long view; whereas, we see in a perspective based on short view. Also, important to note, is that slavery in ancient times was NOTHING like the slavery we think of today. It was often a second chance for life. For what would normally invoke a death sentence in ancient times was mercifully reduced by God in the passages you're speaking of. Non-believers are very one-sided, in that they cannot articulate the verse to mean anything else but "horror". It's because they see man writing the Bible himself and making it up as he goes along, instead of God mercifully thinking and planning behind the scenes within the Bible, while having to use rebellious, "horrible" man to do so. The Bible is brutally honest and it doesn't do a rush job on the edification of man's nature. It just provides the path, and if you look far enough, towards the long view of God, you can always find the ulterior motives of his guidance.
