stupid people with lame excuses

Today me overheard a customer wanted a refund of the things she bought. It turns out to be an mp3 player. She claims that she can get a refund as she only use for 3 days.
Then the shopkeeper ask if the mp3 has any problems.
The customer 1st lame excuse is that the mp3 cannot store 20 songs. But the shopkeeper says it can store around 20 songs as its only a 64 mb.
Then the customer suddenly change her excuse saying tat she needs the money to go see a doctor.
The shopkeeper has no choice but to refund the customer as she says she does not "trust" the shop anymore if she does not get the refund.
I really pity the shopkeeper. How lame can a person go.

you work in this line, you meet people like this. fortunately, they don't happen often, but, they do happen a little too close together for my liking. they should be shot, that's what should happen to them.

Acturally me almost burst out laughing at the customer when me heard her 1st excuse. Then i was a bit shock as she change her excuse.

that day at kallang mac..this lady was complaining to the manager of mac because she was not allowed to bring her dog in..and gave reasons like "are you gonna be responsible if my dog gets bang down by a car"..like how lame man,if you wana eat you shouldn't even bring your dog out..

this shop sells those sweets 3 for $1 one... got diff kinds of sweets same price. then i just wanna buy 3. so i took 3 different ones, all priced at that price.
then the shop uncle say, "cannot!!! must all the same!!! i ordered them in multiples of 3s!!!" -

US used to have such a sales policy for cars. You could buy a car, drive it around and at the end of 21 days you could return it for a full refund if you simply didn't like it.
Evidently, the idea was a real screw-up as tons of people abused this option.
Nowadays, retail outlets safeguard themselves by redirecting any such request to the authorised service center. Such after sales interaction between customers and shopkeepers are rare. -
