How ironic it is always when a band is going to be disbanded that ppl take notice of them. I guess this is human nature after all. Did JiaJu get his deserved recognition when he is alive? When he died it make more ppl stand up to notice this band.
I was predicting for Mayday to be even more popular than now, the lead singer better go commit suicide like Kurt Cobain or die in an accident like JiaJu. Somehow human has this perverse interest in dead talented singer. It is like more ppl will take notice when he is dead than alive.
So I am waiting for death news

For great bands it is worthwhile forking out money to buy their compilation hits. Afterall you are not buying individual album you are buying greatest hits collection.
For me I only buy all individual albums by the Beatles hahahaha..... the rest of other bands I buy compilation hits. I also wanna collect Beyond all album but give up half way cuz my sister collect too. I only have their canto 80's compilation hits -

Who is popular is individual opinion. You can say little tiger more popular by all means. But I can say Beyond last longer than little tiger. Little tiger as a band in the music scene how many years? -

Singapore TV/Radio not allow to show cantonese MTVs, radio not allow to play cantonese songs.
they start making madarin albums late, just like many others HK singer.
For eg, Hacken Lee, he got the Xin Ren Jiang "New singer award" in singapore, the 933 music awards. He already started his singing career in HK for about 8 yrs, yet he get this "xin ren jiang", cos that's his first mandarin album.
