This is my 6th smoke-free day. And even if I'm down with some form of cancer, I'd still be here, encouraging others to STOP SMOKING!!!
Are you also aware that CANCER happens to people who don't smoke, or drink, stays away from places where people smoke, and exercises reqgularly?
Another cause of cancer is STRESS. The other cause of cancer is pure Ass-luck! -

Today is my 7th day, or NO (0/Zero) cigarettes! ( if this is the USA, I would have bought some fireworks, get the permit for them, and launched them already!)
Ok, lighthand, have thought of doing what you suggested, but those big wide eyes of my wife and mother tells me otherwise. Besides, it's not allowed "Home Business" for HDB dwellers. Yes, I live in a 5room HDB pigeon hole. Land is so ex and value-less here, I invested properties in Malaysia instead.
Well, 7th day and onwards I trudge....
hmm.. anyone can tell me who invented cigarrettes with Nicotine in it??
NICOTINE, is exactly like drugs such as Morphine, Heroine, except the withdrawal symptoms are less dramatic.
Can someone do a little research on Nicotine and post it in here? I gotta go down to the office today - can't stay away for too long, or those guys'll take advantage and eat all the snakes they can catch. -

haiz, had hard time persuading my friends to quit smoking.. 1 of them is a newbie who have smoked less than a year. Despite knowing the consequences, he had no intention of quitting at all. that's disappointing. Any advice for me? -
heard from renorenal that 16 November is an Anti-Smoking day? I will go check it up

Tell those who are still smoking now, that when they hit 40 years old, they'd start to think really seriously about how they wanna expire....
There is no standard & effective way to tell someone who is a smoker for only one year to quit it. It's a free-will thing, willing or not willing is the question. Fear is never in sight at the beginning. -

Hi lightland and every kind soul here in support of my quitting a 40 year old habit.
Yes, you can have all this music (or noise) fire-power without causing your neighbor/s to complain - walao you invite them over to jam or have dinner lah..
also, I use headphones, watch the time of day, don't need to blast, and if having a party i always invite neighbors. When a few of us are playing, we make sure volume is easonable.
I think playing oldies and some jazz fusion is a lot bearable than say something from Irion Maiden or Linkin Park?
Ok and by the way, today will the 8th day!!!! heeeeeeeeee
