so is everyone's job. its a tough world and everyone has to struggle somehow to make it through the day regardless what job you have. The pay in the home team are better now. If can play football even better, excuse duty and go training everyday. Somehow i am not too sure a neighbourhood police centre is better than the old NPPs. Although i see manpower deployment is more efficent and faster in NPC but not sure if is serves community well.

See how long they take to response or perhaps whether they response at all. Give it a try, please. In SPF forum, like you said it's SPF forum, sure they say they are good mah.

After reading this thread really pissed sia......
How can so many people disregard what is done by the police and say they not doing their jobs??? Why not ask what you can do to help them since you all know what is lacking and can be done??? Instead of just talking, go and do something constructively or speak up to the government.
All of you think police so free then go think how they have put their life on the line every time they don their uniforms. This despite not being reconginsed for their efforts. If you think back, Nicole Highway collapse, police attend it first but anybody say anything about the police??? Thing happen, eg neighbour make noice in the middle of the night, who you thought of?? The police.... then they come. Then now terrorist activities around if suspicious package or parcel found some where, who attend first??? Police..... the list can still go on if you shut your mouth and think.
If you don't appreciate and would not say thanks then just keep your mounth shut. -

Who do you think lead the investigations? Sori, it’s the people from the Min. Of Manpower, Safety Department. Didn’t you read the papers? They are technically incompetent for such investigations. Another instance, a foreign ship crew was badly beaten up by another fellow crew in a local shipyard. He got a blacken eye and his face swelled like a watermelon. He called the police for help. Guess what? The police patrol car came and the police scolded the crew who was beaten up. He told him to get his manager to solve his own problem. WTF! Isn't there assault committed?
Another case. An undergraduate cyclist was killed by a drunk driver. His distraught parents were heart broken and wanted the know the outcome of the investigations. Guess what again? The bloody IO did not inform the family of the scheduled coroner inquiry. WTF! The family only got to know the case when the papers published the next day. When the IO was questioned why didn't he inform the Next Of Kin. The answer was just "I forgot". What bloody farking policemen are these? Just forgot is enough! The deceased family wrote a letter to the Home Affairs for an answer, WTF, they push around and did not bother to give the deceased family an answer. Fark these bloody policeman!
Saw the news yesterday? They amended the law to allow conviction of loan sharks or their runners who splash paint or harassed the defaulters. Isn't it obvious that they are hopeless since? Now then they put it into law. Didn't also a lawyer who was interviewed mention it's useless with this law unless they are enforced? Looking at it, come to square one lah.
Want to hear more? Some of you are bored liao lah. Enough I guess. They are good for dispersing 4 ppl for gathering at CPF building with a bus load of policemen, investigate the elephant placards, catch some snakes in the drain, frighten some young boys for misbehaving. Tell them there is a naked woman sleeping in Punggol Park. See what happen?
Ask around some lawyers how some of these farkers work. Waste taxpayerÂ’s money only lah. Petition? Waste time also lah. The farking force itself is hopeless. Petition to whom? Given up hope long ago liao.
