downloading stuff from bit torrent..IS IT LEGAL AFTER ALL??

  NOW..that shouldn't have copyrights correct?..cos its aired on TV..and it was RIPed down by HOME VIEWERS...so if we look at it in another way..we are just watching what the TV STATIONS are showing us..since they are showing it to their pple in other countries?
  

  Don't be a fool. You don't decide whether it is copyright or not. The judge decides. And in civil cases, if you have more money and influence, you win.

  To sum the copyright law in one sentence: Making a copy of the material without permission for the copyright owner is an infringement.
  
  That said, there's no difference from downloading and uploading.
  There's no difference from downloading new or old copyrighted stuff.

  Ya .. but there are grey areas .. like fair use .. lol
