Those who are religiously devout have longer lifespan and healthier lifestyle since regular praying help the individual in his/her emotional and mental state. With a positive mental and emotional well-being, the person will also be motivated in many areas thus leading to a beneficial physiological condition.
I personally believe happiness leads to a better life, with or without the need of praying. -
i experienced instant healng before of a migraine when a pastor prayed for the sick in the church. i stood up (because my sister nudged me to) when he said he was going to pray for the sick. i was having a crisis in my life and was crying the night before until i developed a bad migraine on Sunday morning. Even when I walked, I got throbbing pain on one side of my head, it was really bad. But after the pastor prayed, and I sat down, the pain was totally gone. And it was as if God was telling me that He was with me, he will heal me and he will bring me through my crisis. Which He did.
so i believe in healing and I believe in God, although it (healing) does not always happen. and no one can explain why sometimes it happens sometimes it does not. -
What are hospitals, clinics, doctors, nurses and medicine for?

Her name is Lin Pei Qi.. she was involved in a road accident on this Monday at Hong Kong.. She's now brain dead.. and if she doesn't wake up by 9pm tonite... she'll be gone.. as the machine is going to cut off as the family couldn't afford to pay the bill.. (S$900 per night for the machine).
She's only 17 years old. A very kind and understanding girl.. She's really a good person. I dun believe that her life gotta be taken away like that.. She oso had never experience xing fu(dunno wad it is called in english)..
So i really hope that some kind souls who see this post can help do some prayers for her.. Hopefully she'll wake up by 9pm.. Thanks a million.. -

In the end its His choice. Even Jesus did not demand for God to do anything. Its by His will that determines if a prayer should be heeded. Of course we might never know what His criterias are, but we should still pray if we think its important.
For the Christians, i like how Abraham prayed to God to fight for Sodom's survival. In the end God still destroyed Sodom, but thats because Sodom failed to meet His criterias. Because of Abraham God had reduced His criteria many times but... still fail what to do ^^"
