Easy lah.
Just "break" the number down into prime numbers.
For example, 100.
100 = 2 X 2 X 5 X 5
= 2^2 X 5^2
sqrt of 100 = 2 X 5
= 10
Much more tedious, but as long as you understand prime numbers and what a square root will do, you can easily square root a number (square number) without a calculator.
Other numbers that are not square I don't know how to do. There is a complex method, which I don't understand.
The same goes for cube root and whatever root you are given.
