  when dealing with anything that is video or sound with "Real" in its name, you can forget about the possibility that free tools exist.
  
  RealAudio / RealVideo / RealAnything are developed by a stingy company that doesn't reveal details about their encoding formats and hence no truly free tools to convert / work with files in these formats exist.

  mpeg too big le...each cd can only burn 1 episode. then for rm each cd can burn 4 episodes. i want to burn dvd too but i not dvd rw hardware. haha

  There are technical explainations which i think you should go google for it.
  
  sony uses both for streaming, both have similiar quality.
  Kontraband uses mov
  Other video websites uses wma.

  this is one puzzle i wanna solve. how come everyone is getting their videos encoded into RM format?!?! So hard to convert it into other formats...
  
  if onli QuickTime supports .mpg(from VCDs) and .vob(from DVDs) formats... It'll be so much easier to encode!!!
