becos that person is very close to him. However, i dunno much abt the details...it could also be that that person and him was also having drugs and he decided only one person should die and that was himself
before he was executed he was a stout follower of buddhism
unfortunately that ungrateful b***h throw his ashes to the ground, which my grandparents would not know had it not been a friend of my parents saw the incident and told them. Last I heard from my parents she commited suicide.
while i am not too sure abt the time and day of the execution becos it happen like 12 yrs ago i am definitely sure prisoners are executed in the morning. As for why they are executed in the morning i also dunno. My guess is maybe they don't want the rest of the prison officers who are working in the day shift to have a shock or something -
I wish to propose an innovative alternative to the death penalty which will increase the TV revenues for Singapore. Since the media is controlled by the govt, the PAP will be more than happy to swell their coffers.
First, buy a small, cheap island that is fairly secluded. Not too big that people get lost. Preferably the size of Kusu island. Hide cameras ALL over the island so that no spot on the island is invisible to cameras.
Next, dump ALL the hardcore criminals there. Murderers, rapists, drug convicts, etc. The island should be surrounded by mines and obstacles to perform a blockade so that no one can get in/out.
Every day, at the stroke of noon, an aerial drop of food will be done. Only ONE cache of food will be dropped, enough to feed one man. Let the show begin! -

I'm just correcting this point and i'm not against the execution. Singapore has a hard law against drugs and he shd know it as we are not very far away from Australia. It's a risk he wanted to take and a price he gonna pay for choosing to do it. -

actually, hanging is not as bad in comparison with other punishments , electric chair , FIRING SQUAD etc. if the hangman is good , he can calculate the exact lenght of rope to use based on the person's height and weight. *after so many executions , he must be good *
with the correct length of rope , death is instantaneous with the neck being broken the instant the lever is pulled.
