hw the person is lead to the place of death sentence?
any briefing given before tt day?
Hi....
The death row prisoners are often repentant. They turn a new leaf and become close to God. It's like when u are told by a doctor that u have cancer and you're going to die. It's the same. You will start to reflect on ur life. Plus of course as a prisoner with little outside distractions, you have plenty of time for urself to reflect and turn a new leaf.
I always think this a very important plus point.
It's an irony. How prior to this, they did something very terrible. But when they are told they are gonna die, they almost become......so pure....so ready to embrace heaven.......become a new person.....turn a new leaf....apologize to family and victims' family......
I feel somewhat....positive....happy....that capital punishment isn't really that bad after all.
By the way, about the 6am thing, my educated guess is.....it's chosen because of the active/ passive cycle of the human body and mind. For example, special forces in the military like to storm hostage takers at 5am or 6am too, because they would be slowest and most un-alert at that time. Probably this is somewhat a consideration in choosing the timing to execute too. Something related to the active/ passive cycle of the human body and mind.
