  if its on the scale like krakatoa, then we're screwed. Btw lake toba in indonesia is in fact a mouth of a volcano. With the pressure increasing between the 2 tetonic plates, faults and crack develops and BOOM. the west and SW of singapore will be hit first. All the southern islands will be swamped

  from wat i know earthquake only happen on vault lines, and tsunami is only waves but with huge potential energy.
  
  so after 1st hit, potential energy should already decipitate wat?
  
  some more straits of malacca not that straight, change is the waves died down b4 hitting the shore.

  Seriously, I don't think a large Tsunami can swallow up Singapore. Unless it's a Tsunami created by an impacted meteorite the size of our moon, I'd believe so.
  
  In the case of a large Tsunami, it would probably decimate low lying areas likely worst hit are coastal districts.
  
  But what Singapore cannot stand up against, are EARTHQUAKES. YES. A quake, can destroy much more than anyone of us in here, dare imagine.
  
  Decades of nation building can easily be destroyed in a matter of minutes by a large earthquake that manages to reach Singapore.
  
  It's a very unsettling thought.
