Scutinizing the scriptures

Why is the bible often being scrutinized so closely while the scripture of other religions ( e.g. scripture of Buddhism, Quran, ...e.g...) ain't?

why do Christians like to preach? i've been asked to go to churches by friends/classmates and more often than not, my group of friends would outcast them if they do so. i've yet to be preached by Buddhists, Hindus??

There are many churches. Some of them have teachings diverted from the bible. So think need to differentiate the more extreme churches and conservative churches. -

For the secular world, some reasons, but one of which is significant is response to Christian evangelism..
Like you said, since you have the Great Commission, ie, evangelise to non believers, which other faiths dont have or have litle of, you cant be expecting immediate conversion, can you? -
