Are parallel-imported CDs legal?

$16 to shop (incl. rent, staff, electricity)
To be fair, rent and electricity and water etc is go to the gahmen. So effectively the shop owners get a < $16 profits after give staff salary.
Conclusion: gahmen the big winner !!!!

Parallel Imported CDs are illegal....
not because they are considered pirated but because they are imported not going approval by MITA (Censors).
But i presume those sold in CD-shops went thru Censors. So they are legal.
As far as I know these PI CD got no infringement of intellectual property and copyright laws because they are legitimate copies and royalties due are paid.
It's only that another law of importing such items require the approval of MITA.
If that approval is given. then PI CD are legal. -
what i heard.. PL CDs are bad news for Record companies as its difficult for them to get hold of certain statistics.
and its perfectly legal to buy and own them

it's no fake one,it's call"reduce version",which is made in china,i support those cds sometimes,i have couple of themOriginally posted by ^spidee^:You see them on roadside make-shift stalls and even some CD outlets sell them. They look like the real thing and play like the real thing, but costs relatively less. But are they legal? Would we be depriving the singers of an extra album sale by going for parallel imports rather than locally-produced CDs?
