  hw to remove it? i got msn messenger n windows messenger. and these 2 kee signing in n out!!!

  Windows messenger is in built into the windows OS and is not removable, can only be disabled.

  You can remove it, but I don't recommend.

  and search yourself for the answers. The tweak is in there. Bear in mind that once this change is applied, it is irreversible.
  
  To stop these 2 from signing in and out all the time, change the options.
  
  Open MSN Messenger. Click Tools, Options
  
  Under the General tab, uncheck the box which says "Automatic sign-in when connected to the Internet.

  Go to control panel > admin tools > services > scroll down to Messenger to disabel

  1. to disable it, go to start, run, type: msconfig
  
  2. at the top under Services, look for the word messenger and untick the box beside it..
  
  3. den click apply and ok..

  right click the messenger ico from the task tab and edit option..

  Well, I got rid of the problem the same.... I some more delete the messenger.exe from the folder

  yup.. i agree... only do this with confidence and carefully.. any wrong steps, there goes yur com.. or u can try to backup yur registry b4 editing it.. hope it helps if anything goes wrong somewhere...

  No need to ... lah I just do it for extra caution
  
  Go to My computer > C drive > program files > Messenger... but they will not allow you to delete the whole folder.. so just delete the exe .. loh
  
  Any way, try to right click the task tab ( on the lower right most corner) and simply disable from the option can liao
