Laptop habits

for those using laptops...any habits that U have...that differs from others?
maybe U can share it with us and find out that actually...U are not that weird...
Is it a good idea to divert output display from the laptop to a monitor? -
i`ll clean the LCD screen everytime i on my lappy

I'll bring it to the toilet & surf the net when doing 'busniess'.

But my laptop produces too much heat for me to do that for long periods of time. Heck, I rest my laptop on a cooling pad on a table.
Besides, there's always the risk that my laptop can slide off my lap and undergo gravitational acceleration. No way do I want that to happen. -

Hey.. another reason I dont put it on my lap is bcoz I find the lappy heavy.

I dun put on my lap because I take out the battery and let the laptop run on AC power...so there is a void at the underside of the laptop...put on the lap funny leh...
my laptop display is now directed to a CRT monitor...not sure if its a good thing to do on a long-term basis...anyone has comments on it? -

I think the crucial point we have to find out is which one ( CRT / lap LCD) uses more power. Its best not to overwork the power supply in our lappy.

i surf using the laptop n computer side by side or surf using laptop play game using comp.

i dun use external monitor
but i do extend to 2nd monitor so i can view 2 screens
this is useful when i need to copy and paste stuff for work
no need switch windows.... -

I use a mighty mouse for my laptop most of the time, loves to play around with the card bus slot (keep on pressing the button and inserting the empty slot thingy repeatedly). Pasted an Apple logo sticker on the top I also added the ObjectDock that works like the Mac Dock. -
