  last time Bedok Jetty can get big fat ikan billis
  
  my dad used to fish them using multiple tiny hooks tied with white cotton wool as bait
  
  he would then clean out the stomachs and fry them, fresh and sedap

  ..... at certain time of the year, go to bedok jetty, huge groups of ikan billis can be found swimming on the surface, just use a net and scoop them up. Those people that came with pails, always returned home in abundance

  bedok jetty last time can put netting also.. when im still a small boy every night i will go there with my family.

  Freshwater stingrays! Wow! How long have you been keeping them? Which type are they? Reticulated/Hystrix (the totally brown ones) or the Motoro (brown/black with round orange spots)? Any pics to share?

  The Reticulates aren't really totally brown. They have markings on them too. You can get pretty nice markings as well.
  
  I have both. One of my Reticulates died due to water problems
  
  I don't have very good pics of them though
