if i have SGD one million, will I hvae a better lifestyle in KL or in SG?
KL:
- A bungalow with nice garden
- higher crime than singapore
- more things to do during weekend
- cheaper living expense
- still got money left to invest.. may retire early
Singapore:
- probably HDB with 5 rms.
- safer
- nothing to do during weekend
- more expensive living expense
- not much money left to reinvestment... so have to work like dog still.
do you think whether i should move to KL or stay in SG? -
Work in SG til retirement , after retirement , sell off the assets , pack off the bag , collect CPF and stay in MY.
Hire 2 Bodyguards and Stay in KL Bungalow -
Before that , take a trip around the world

Wat can happen is at most theft. High chance of getting the culprit.
In MY, it is possible you could end up 'missing' for the rest fo your life. -

my only concern is safety. however, i went to KL. it's not as bad as what i thought.
I like to stay in signanpore. But when i see all these ah gong ah ma have to clean up my leftover at food court... i don't want to become like them in singapore when i'm old. -

In Malaysia, chances are high of you being robbed, kidnapped, or murdered for your money.
$1mil, is probably enough for you to retire nicely in Singapore.

Think ppl sometimes think too negatively of Malaysia...if you really go and stay there you will find out that it is not as bad as it seems -

I think it depends on where you live. You live in big cities like KL or in those small msian towns? Usually the more affluent cities will attract crime whereas small towns they can't be bothered cuz most ppl there not rich hahahhhaaa....
To me, my stand as always is earn money work in spore. To retire, stay in msia hahaha....
I dreamt of using my money to buy rubber plantation land. Happy happy I build a bungalow in the middle of the rubber plantation. To supplement my income, I engage ppl there to cut rubber for me or I ownself go cut. Imagine morning open door I see rubber trees. I will pay money ask postman every week come inside ulu ulu my home to check if I got die or not hahahaa.... I wanna die surrounded by nature and hopefully the postman arrange a simple burial for me -

I think I prefer to stay in a small town anyway, it is more peaceful and there are also shopping complexes around and the people are more friendly. -
u can have a lot of money...
but if u cant manage them well..
they wouldnt last long... -

Shopping complex is up to each individual definition. To some it is big megamall like KLCC, Mid Valley, Suntec etc etc.... for those small towns shopping complex it is at most NTUC supermarket size hahaha.... -

So you also pay money to the postman to visit your house once a week to check got anyone die so he can tell the rest? -
most of the stuff I need can be found in the shopping mall at my place last time...maybe it is because I am not really someone who crave to shop at branded shops that can only be found in big cities. So my needs are easily satisfied
To be realistic the product quality in those small town departmental stores not as good as big cities it is to be expected. An example, the pregnancy kit there so cheap RM10 but then buay chun one cuz my wife use is negative but then later use spore polyclinic it says positive. Also her elder brother do admit the medicine in spore is using better quality than the msian gahmen medicine. The price difference is big but it is one cent money one cent goods lor. So usually the chinese msians got money go private clinics instead of gahmen one -
