This afternoon about 1.50 pm caught in heavy down pour at Tampines (Ave 10). Luckly along the TPE I saw a SATS personnel stop and don on his lime green rain suit. I follow suit. That saved me from getting drenched.

Singapore is such a small island, I don't know why it can't rain all over the island or be sunny all over. Many times I face the situation of rain at my block, but sunny 200m away, and vice versa. Yesterday morning (07/06/2008) sunny at Bedok Reservoir, rain at Tampinese Ave 10 and TPE, and sunny at Lentor Ave.
