For me it would be stealing fruits from govt parks. Last time my HDB flat downstairs used to have this park that has lots and lots of guava trees, jackfruit trees and several other fruits like starfruit tucked away in the small corner of the park. Those who lived in tampines st 22, blk 289 area should know, the park along the PIE.
As a kid around 3 to 4 years old i was damn greedy, just keep plucking and plucking also don't know for what. That was in early 1990-1991 or 2.. but sadly all remove already due to too many "pluckings". Only left the jackfruit trees, Park Boards know too high already we cannot reach, only can look and mouth water. -

i had some figurings when i was very young, den later on i had gameboy, black n white one. i got two sets with the exact same games so someone could play with me.
but both kana confiscated one fine day. den i got my computer and creative nomad mg.. mg2.. and all the high tech stuff like my sony viao with docking station being my first laptop. yes it was a toy to me. -
last time got masak toy car, those cheap cheap $1, den those hand held games toy plastic soldiers, the water gun

I used to catch spiders at "secret place" trying to be first king in school, catch longkang fish in longkangs, act tarzan swinging while holding on to what looked like roots hanging down from some old trees, go kopitiam asked uncle for bottle caps for kuti-kuti, buy a few marbles & rubbed on the floor for better "screw-tarik" shots, throw slippers in a game called "sarkolei", fly some layangs, & after a tired game of hide-&-seek or police-catch-thief, buy home-made plum or ong lai "sng-bao" from neighbour's flat.

You have the same interest as me. Just that 13 years later, the "armies" more sophiscated. Mine's come with bridges, maps, helis, fighter planes, tanks, APCs, Artillery, rockets launchers, missiles and even radar. Of course soldiers are also included, but in a lot of different poses such as guard, commander, signaller, as well as the combat pose.Originally posted by sohguanh:Parents no money buy toys for me so I get passed down toys. toys in the past...1990s........i still remember only some games
hoppin game- the one using chalk to draw on the floor...
then the rubberband game...oh ya...zero point...though my frenz play, but that i still dunno how to play...
then while i was in primary sch...
i was catching grasshoppers...playing country erasers....
marbles...i also don't know how to play...
but back then, i was like in the field of the school, looking for saga seeds..learning how to fold things...
catching canal fishes....
my way of spending my past.....are the cheaper alternative...

Yah man i used to climb tree pluck mango hide n seek i the bush now kids so lucky nowday got pc games arcade gameboy playstation etc. lot more now days girls don't play wif dolls anymore...
