To those like me awaiting O level results, what do you personally think of the new JPSAE system?

for O lvl graduates like me, wad courses are u aiming when u get into the poly ? I would choose either Infocomm, Info Tech, or computer engineering... wad about u guys?

Ever since I left sec sch, I had met a few other people who had almost made it into their dream course... Just because of a single subject grade.
Many of my friends are not really in the course they like cos of the same reason. -

I also did that, now in info tech course. Anyway, it is my interest, so it doesn't really matter.
Most would go for biomedical science and biotech. Latest hot courses are hospitality and tourism courses and multimedia courses. -

Info tech and engineering courses and nursing course have the lowest cut points. 26 points for IT and engineering and 28 points for nursing. -
Now there are 22 new courses....
Hope this would release the 'jam' in other courses. -

wow.. not bad huh.. at least will be better than me I guess.. But however, there is something I am worried about.. tat's my maths subject.. I have been failing my maths last yr.. wonder wad will my O lvl results will be.. haiz.. Let's say these 2 students apply into same course:
A1, A1, A1, A1, E7
C6, C6, C6, C6, C6
The A1 student would be instantly rejected without consideration all cos of one of his results missed entry requirements.
Finally after 50 years of polytechnic history, other factors other then official exam results are given consideration. -

Horticulture accepts E8 maths
Archi (SP) accepts E7
That's why I hear people applying into them cos of math.
Depriving those truly passionate ones a chance.
Once math or science fails, that's virtually no hope of entering.
But now JPSAE made the system much much better. -
my friend had to retake Os because he failed maths lohz..this is unfair..
