Oh ya. Something else to add. Creative sound cards' documentation sux0r.
i couldn't get my external module up for dunnoe how many x months, don't even feel like calling em up since its not urgent. their documents are like 70% advertisments.. including CDs, mostly demos. i'm using audigy2 ZS.. the module size so big but inside like so hollow, dats y i was relectant to fix it in but without it, i absolutely cannot use a mic at all. now i have a big black box on my monitor jus so i can use the mic. -
hmm i river rox! aniway back tio the topic.. i own a creative zen micro that cock up 5 times in a year until the officer recognises me.. anwiay have ur heard of Zen vision M?.. it seems very attractive and it was awarded the best mp3 player in Cnet Exhibition and another award too!.. i pod is good in design but i feel that practicality is mre impt IMO. i feel that it is not worth it to pay more$$ just for the design.. anwiay Iriver roX!

I will support creative given this 2 choices..
I feel ipod is kinda expensive given the functions it can perform.. priced more cos of its appearance..
Although must admit creative players got more problems that ipod.
Once considered buying a creative.. never really thought of an ipod before.
But anyway, I bought another brand in the end.. -
I own a creative mp3 also, but i personal thinks that caretive make lousy mp3 player. I used to hate ipod, but now it reall better then creative in term of clear music and louder. of course my favourite is still my 20gb samsung mp3 player. the SRS rocks man. High Definity (HD) setting enhance the music even higher. i dun think i can find thie HD SRS technology in other mp3 player liao. maybe iriver have it. Any samsung hdd based mp3 player users here? can to share ur views?

I own a 4gd ipod nano. The sound quality ok la but the durability is beyond doubt. I have dropped it countless times and its still working great. Dont you all think ipod should have fm radio feature ?

iPod Nano and 5g iPod video will have radio function only if you buy the iPod Remote+FM Tuner. jus own a ipod nano 1gb and its good. only pissing thing is u have to convert mp3 and wma files to acc and u have to use itunes to place music in ipod. And u will really takes a long time to place the music if u use it for the first time. Really kinda pissed me and feel like smashing it!
Wats good abt ipod is u have 1 year warranty, it's small, nice design, click wheel!
But creative have a better sound for sure, u guys know they produce soundcards ya? Anyway i have a creative travelsound (small speaker but powerful sound effects and i mean it!) and a ipod nano. V small man but the batt life not v lasting. -

That's the only drawback. Actually another drawback is it can't play wma files. Who plays quality music with wma anyway? With less than 100 bucks you can upgrade your memory and it'd be a perfect platform for MP3 songs. I have a phone, no need to b v good but as long as i can make calls.

Me support both IPod and Creative! Me got my wife an IPod Mini 5Gb for her Christmas in 2004 and me got my Creative MuVo2 1.5Gb in 2003.
Me would say both each have their own strong points and weaknesses:
IPod Mini
Battery life is short, full charge can only last 3 hours.
Sound fidelity is not as clear.
Design is attractive.
Creative MuVo2
Battery life is average, good of 15 hours non-stop running in the 1st 9 months, slowly drop to average 8 hours non-stop running after 15 months, and now average 5 hours of non-stop running.
Sound fidelity is good.
Design is average but small built made up for the deficiency. -
Samsung Rules. 25 hours of mp3 battery power or 7 hours of video battery power
