Who's studying Japanese presently?

  level 4 and 3 is rather easy.

  Well, I'm taking 4hrs of Jap lesson/week for a duration of 6mths. You think if I keep going at it for another 6mths I will be able to take the JLPT 2?

  i learn by seeing lyrics of jap songs on their pv's.

  japanese major in nus, 3 years only JLPT 2 leh, and not all can pass

  Which is why I'm asking opinions from the bigger dogs. But one thing is for sure, that I'm serious about the language and I have gone the extra mile by gleaning study materials available on the web which is not covered in the course. However, I can only do so much. When it comes to speaking, nothing is as good as speaking to a native. Then again, JLPT does not have a speaking element to it so I don't have to worry about that part yet. So, back to the topic, who is willing to allow me the selfish privilege of practicing Japanese with whoever.

  I only learned basic conversational jap.
  
  U need to be very disciplined and manage ur time well if u wana learn everything. I have frens who gave up cos they couldn't manage their time well.

  it is a common phenomena. lots of people are starts basic level with a lot of enthusiasm, which slowly dies away.
  
  anyway even with JLPT level 2 it does not mean much.
