how leh.. i want to be accountant ..if i take the diploma way then i juz can exempt 3 papers from the ACCA exam which is more valued than a degree..whreas if i take A level i can exempt around 8... my Eng not very good.... so how??
help me? -
Just choose whatever that suits you best. Meaning, you must be able to cope.

last time i choose poly becos i hate studying for chinese in secondary school and also poly sure can get into uni and even if dun go also much better then a "A" level cert. but if go "A" level and can't get into uni then die liao need to retake or can't work in certain field like engineering.
so it really up to you on what you want and what you are confidence in loh. no point go somewhere where you have to pull a long face for the nxt few years.

ya lah pretty hard but normally after working 1 to 2 years u can get in if u plan for local uni, but if u opt for oversea then u can sure get in. so it a matter of u want to wait or u dun want to wait.
good and bad for both so it personal preference. -
My teacher told me the only about 5% of poly student who are able to make it to Uni. They are usually the ones who can go JC who instead chosen Poly. imo, going poly is more pratical nowadays. cos degree everywhere also got
what is more impt in the working society is hands on experience.. smth which jc doesnt offer.. btw i'm a A lvl student

NUS/NTU/SMU 100% not crap uni........can enter civil service.......other uni, u may have problem........
SINGTEL takes in NUS as Manager. They take in some Aussie Uni grad as ASST Manager.........see......lower class -

as for most uni the good and the bad one, you can get into it, but the exemptions will be different as in you may or may not be given exemption depending on ur result and the standard of the uni.Got good uni and also got crap uni = which u prefer.
there are alot of good uni in australia too and it all depend on whether you know which one to choose from and you will be suprise by how much you get to learn from those good uni in australia.

Read the ST report on choosing JC/Poly....something I like to know myself, though irrelevant to me:
"Poly students can be exempted in uni...even straight to third year....poly need only 4 years to get degree, compared to 5 who chose the JC route."
Tell me, which uni can allow poly students to do that? -

Overseas University allow poly to jump into 3rd year whereas local only allow 1 year jump. -
