well dun be sure on tat....i have friends who are scholars studying at imperial college, stanford.....guess wht they tell me......as long as ur daddy is freaking rich/ is some ceo of any mnc, den chances are u may be admitted.........dun noe how true lah.....

anyway if u r thinking of becoming doctor/lawyer, A level is definitely the correct route. but if u r going to become engineer.....den it is advisable for u to go poly..........
a lot of my A levels frenz regretted going to JC when they saw their poly counter parts graduating frm University while they r still in studying. Furthermore from more reputatable University like Monash, Melbourne Uni when their Poly results are just above average.
In case u guys dun noe, NTU is not ranked beri high in the world ranking and SMU is no where in the top 100 (no offence to those studying there). it is due to the fact that singapore oni has these Uni that most ppl(especially Aunties) tot that they are the "best" uni.....and those that enter are elites........
i believe that going to poly is a wiser choice these days especially when there are so many institutions offering overseas uni nowadays............the days where the perception of going to jc is better are far over........
