anyone has pics of the gun they can post here? S&W automatics are not exactly common. so its quite curious how he even has a gun like thatOriginally posted by Simon Dean:Dont know but from pictures in the newspaper, the sides of the handles looks dismantled exposing the magazine.

I don't think its the 4506. Its supposedly an obselete model and im also assuming that the robber had it since the 70s when he was convicted for firearm offences.Originally posted by kelong70:

Pardon my ignorance on guns but what is the difference between a pistol and a revolver? Pistol is those we saw on shows load six bullets into the chamber one at a time whereas revolver bullets are like our M16 bullets in a catridge just slot it up and viola?

reported to be a S&W semi-auto.Originally posted by HENG@:anyone can name the actual model of handgun he used?
revolvers allow u to hold more powerful bullets in general.Originally posted by sohguanh:Ok so I get it all reverse mix up. Now isn't pistol better than revolver since in terms of loading bullets pistol way is much faster than revolver? Why is our spore police still using pistol? When run out of bullets reloading will take some time rite?![]()

Every guy in Singapore has a "gun"Originally posted by Simon Dean:THIS SHOWS those sceptical Singaporeans that there are still posession of firearms here, only time will tell.I am goddanm sure at least more than 5 peoplein singapore have some sort of pistol or revolver at least by illegal means.
i know its a S&W. but what model of S&W? they make quite a few semi autos. I have an airsoft replica of the 4506 in london myself.Originally posted by LazerLordz:reported to be a S&W semi-auto.
Originally posted by sohguanh:different mechanisms. both have their pros and cons.
i think they can load with a magazine that looks just like the revolving chamber
Then what is the advantage of pistol over revolver or vice versa? They use different mechanism to fire shots?
