i dunno. The ones i seen could be plugged and it shines neon light..

Larva Lamps are generally used as a Deco & it is very beautiful when your light settings are right.

Larva Lamps are available at Heeren and Far East Plaza.

this is mine, with a CD for height reference. cost me about 70dollars from a shop in heeren. the shop is opp the Wan Ton Mee shop i think, not 77th street.

in Annex but cant remember which floor. several designs to choose, with the wax colour and liquid colour, which for mine would be blue wax and clear white liquid.

the bulb will blow after few months. had changed 2 bulbs and still going strong. bulbs are at $5 each at the same shop. tried looking for cheaper bulbs from hardware stall but they dun carry the size of the lava lamp bulbs...

it serves as a night lamp in my room so my room wouldnt be too dark. nowadays when i go overseas or holidays i must sleep with the night light on. abit scared of dark now.... Embarassed

Anyway larva lamps are not so interesting...There r other better types of lights than larvas
