Poverty level states those who earn less than 1 U.S dollar. 1 U.S dollar is equivalent to RS.45 in India. A person can have breakfast, lunch and dinner for Rs.30-35. Still he has Rs.10 to spare.   Rich does not mean how much assets u have. It is how much savings u have after spending on those assets compared to elsewhere in the world.
