Flowers, a must have on Valentines Day?

i notice how my gf looks and smells the roses i gave her, how my friend excitedly telling me how her bf gave her flowers, and some threads in the forums, i got this conclusion... Flowers is a must on V day. Anyone beg to differ? Any girls here think that there is no need? come come... lets tok tok ^_^

well, from a guy's point of view, i don't really understand the attraction of flowers to girls. But if you love your girl, you would want her to be happy. Yes is the act of Love.
But however if giving flower to your partner during Valentines...then i may have seems pressured le.
If you would wish to present those flower occasionally thruout the year. That will not seem ritual or becos of being pressured, that's why LL must buy flower. .
Whatever she thinks....it's her expectations.
Would you fulfil her expectation if she expect you to buy her a 10,000 ring diamond ring to prove your love to her?

i guess it's the reason why a guy wanna gives flowers tat matters... if he is juz giving his gf flowers on v day for the sake of giving becoz it is v day... then it is no longer meaningful... if is becoz he wans to show his love for his gf, then juz giving 1 stalk will be a very touching act already... i believe the girl will feel it...

like someone mentioned before, these procedures are not rituals.( not rituals to get laid anyways.) they just carry a certain meaning to it.

I'm very practical. I tell my hubby to give me something more lasting like watch, diamonds etc. Anyway don't celebrate V day cos everything too expensive. I rather he treats me well every day.
