So, does anyone know if the restrictions are on weekdays only or weekends as well? My friend just booked a club for a night next Wednesday, does that mean we can't go? -

I think the topic misled many people. This is not a curfew, there are no new laws passed to ban below-17s after 2300. "Curfew" is a very big word in this case, nobody said they can't be out after 2300! They can wander in the streets for all anyone cares, but the Police are now obliged to take down their particulars and inform their parents.
I feel the Government is right in pushing for such an "enforcement", how many kids nowadays hang out late and neglect their studies, or get into trouble with crime? They may be the victims when it comes to crime, or they might be the one initiating a fight, I don't care. The point is this serves as a deterrent. -
Yes, i think the topic title is misleading.
The police will only take down the person's particular and a letter will be sent to the parents. Other than that nothing more. The kids will be free to go after their particulars are taken down. -
Later u see a kid having supper wif his parents. Then the police that is obligated to do so, comes and take down the particulars of the kid infront of his parents. Then sent a letter to his parents a few days later.

Naturally, when i have come to this age, if i can spell the word that i have type out so far, i see no reason why u have come to the conclusion that i don't know how to spell the word boy. And if u notice, to register to sgforums, they ask for your username. They didn't state that i have to spell it correctly and even if u do, u won't get anything in return. And for your info, just in case u are really dumb enough to realise, kendoboi is a nickname to represent myself in this forum, i have no intention of purposely allowing people like you to point out that it's a mistake, anyway, why do u bother.

the govt must appeal to the residents coz its the election yr. a lot of adults will agree to this anyway. i know there are discontentment among the teenagers but the govt no need worry.. only 21 yrs old n above can vote for the elections anyway
