Haiz , have a heart will you. If your already trying your hardest and still cant make ends meet, you don't have a choice. You think those ppl want to take money from the government, they don't have a choice thats why.
From the governments stand point , its also good for the population and for the economy. Why you may ask ? Its because it is part of an automatic fiscal stabiliser that stabilises the economy. It allows the poor to be able to spend reasonbly so as to be able to survive. This reduces the drop in GDP due to lower expenditure. -
