I know the ministers/chief justice's private residences have a security post at the entrance, with a blue coloured letter-box with the words POLICE written on it. -

I also wondered abt the same thing. Like, where do they go for lunch on workdays? Or they drive home to eat?
Or even the MPs...probably cannot to go hawker centre, or else a lot of ppl want to shake their hands, ask them to write letters, etc....cannot have a peaceful lunch. -

I've seen Yaacob Ibrahim at Tan Tock Seng Hospital.. He was walking to his car, a Toyota Prius... and he was alone. No white volvo escort, no bodyguards.

The senior ministers (PM, DPMs, SM, MM) probably have lunch at the Istana, since their offices are there. They have top professional chefs at the istana you know, it was featured in the papers before.
