Fish's eyes got eaten

  I woke up to check on my goldfish this morning.
  i discovered that one of them had both its eyes gone!
  there were two holes that remained.
  one of the holes has a black vein-like thread hanging out
  the other hole was empty.
  i think the other goldfish ate its eyes...

  its true
  prolly my fish will forget that its eyes were eaten..
  then it'll think 'why cant i see?'
  a few seconds later it'll forget again
  and the cycle continues...

  It's normal to have other Goldfishes eating out your Goldfish eyes during a fight or friendly chasing. That's why I only kept one goldfish in my tank previously.

  I kept 2 goldfishes in my tank and none of them had their eyes eaten.. one gold, one silver with head red in colour...
