Police have found the body believed to be that of the 2-year-old girl Nurasyura Mohamed Fauzi who went missing earlier this week.
Police found the body under the Aljunied Flyover at 4pm after a 3-hour search on Saturday.
The nude body was partially decomposed and covered under the debris and litter.
The suspect is believed to be the girl's stepfather.
A 30-year-old despatch worker will be charged in court with murder on Monday.
The girl was last seen by her grandfather, sleeping in the room of their ground floor flat at Block 62 Circuit Road, at about 7pm on Wednesday.
The girl had been living with her stepfather's parents for the last three months.
Police, volunteers and family members had mounted a wide-scale search for her in the MacPherson area over the past few days. - CNA/ir -
