NS experience no count...and working exp must be in related field for Cat C...how are u going to be a teacher for 4 years when U havent got into NIE?pre-school teacher?I dun think U can be a primary school relief teacher for 4 years right?

no.U cant do that using Cat C.
U will have to use Cat A (GCE 'A level) if U want to do that.
btw...if U take MOE's sponsorship...U will be bonded to them for a number of years...if U dont take their sponsorship...NIE fees are not cheap.... -

seriously if U ask me...cat c is more for those applying to NTU rather than NIE...somemore U need to serve ur NS...ORD...come out and find something related and work for 4 years...I suggest U forget about NIE.
nowadays...even if U want to teach pre-school to have teaching experience...they also need people with diplomas....not like last time suka suka can get people to teach pre-school...
if U die die want to try....just apply under Cat A lor...U have 2 years to try...they have 2 years to reject U...U might get lucky -

Anyway from wat i heard as long as u r in a government school and are in deferment period u can take another deferment if u're going to higher educational insitute, just like me i am still under ITE deferment so there should not be any problem to defer for my poly if i apply for it now (1st Year in ITE). Btw CMPB have change regulation liao all ITE male graduates can defer to go straight poly but they must be less then 20 years oldOriginally posted by ndmmxiaomayi:But they are supposed to do so before 18.
