for those instant pies and stuff .... a trick I learnt is to turn it on high, plonk it in for only about 2 minutes, let it cool for a while, then repeat the cycle around 3-5 times ... it comes out just like oven baked ones, flaky and crispy ...Originally posted by HENG@:I just lurrrrrve the microwave, don't u?

get one of those corning ware cook pots, put, say chicken thighs into a bowl, pour a bit of soy sauce, hua teow wine, tomato pieces, whatever seasoning your want .... fill the pot up about halfway with water .... put it into the pot, put the lid over, and dump it into the microwave .... put on high for say 30 minutes, depending on the power ....Originally posted by HENG@:how how how? teach!!!
