Dentists attribute wisdom teeth problems due to the fact human jaws do not grow as long as they use to, hence wisdom teeth no longer have space to grow. For most, removal is to alleviate the pain due to collision or decay due to trapped food. -

removing the teeth from the lower jaws are the ones that r scary. top ones not so bad...

to do that they have to put nodes on you. remove bra is not because of metal parts but rather to make the area more "accessible" for the nodes.

I went for Jaw op before. they detached my jaw and sew back. 2 weeks no solid food. haha. weird thing is did not lose weight. -
Mine not so horrible...
1st time extracted one tooth at Q+M, $400, under LA, pain for 2 days, drink porridge and milo only... after 2 days ok liao
2nd time extracted 3 teeth at Alexandra Hospital, get referral from polyclinic cause no $$.....
they let you choose LA or GA, I chose GA... wake up feel slight pain, same, after 2-3 days ok liao....
maybe my pain tolerance level quite high, so not so bad. AH gave very good service, few days after extraction they still call and check your condition...can pay by medisave somemore.... highly recommended!! And they gave you a special syringe to wash the hole in the gum to keep the area clean, which the private clinic don't give. Can see a lot of food particles when you use the syringe.... -

Heh, mine wasn't that bad. I made sure the dentist made my gums properly numb before he started - request for more jabs if you're scared of pain, don't paiseh. Could feel him tugging and knocking at the teeth but whole op was painless throughout. Post -op pain was minor & bearable too , I've suffered worse pain than this. Didn't need to take any painkiller. Just bit on the cotton swab hard and it recovered quickly enough.

mine was growing perpendicular to the norm.
they use aneasthetic with along long needle. but in the end still can feel the teeth being moved around and the hammering and drilling.
the drilling esp scary, cos the sound very loud and you can feel the pressure. -
And the smell of drilling teeth, which results from the high speed grinding against enamel, exactly the same smell whenever you bbq crabs.

For me, the only down side of it was.... even my tongue is numb after the op

i very dumb lor.. nobody told me i could remvoe them during NS and take 5 day mc per tooth...
wah lao.. i went to the dentist when i was 16 yrs old.. he told me that they were growing at an angle which will cause pain in future.. for futher confirmation, he took x-rays of my jaw and showed me...
i had 3 extracted at the same time u know! and it wasnt an operation.. he kept injecting the medicine to numb my mouth and drilled the teeth away..
i couldnt talk as i could not control my lips from drooping.. saliva drooled everywhere i went to too... and only could eat porridge or drink soup for my meals..
i could chew with front but i found it troublesome.. so ate liquid food for the duration... each spoon of porridge taken was also damn painful.. the heat from the porridge that come in contact with the stitches was OMFG!...
for 3 weeks i couldnt eat properly.. and subsequent 1-2mth to get used to the empty slotS behind..
