I heard a senior nurse saying this to her partner when I was having medical checkup in school, "Many people think that not wearing glasses when they are supposed to will improve eyesight. Actually, its the opposite"Originally posted by ^tamago^:dun wear specs if u can. try to let ur eyes work, BUT do it bit by bit.

maintain at 450 for 4 yrs lor. astig gone from 75 to 0. but i must wear at night, cos it's too tough to see without straining, daytime i can still see bus number so might as well let the eye adapt.Originally posted by wildlife123:thats so bold. did your eyesight gets better after that?
gd news. keep it up. do you visit the optician frequently for degree checking?Originally posted by ^tamago^:maintain at 450 for 4 yrs lor. astig gone from 75 to 0. but i must wear at night, cos it's too tough to see without straining, daytime i can still see bus number so might as well let the eye adapt.
No! you shouldn't do that. You should try to wear your specs as much as possible so that you don't strain your eyes. My friend's degree of myopia got worse when he tried not to wear his specs for a long period of time.Originally posted by ^tamago^:dun wear specs if u can. try to let ur eyes work, BUT do it bit by bit.

Spend more time looking at greenery. Trees and plants...Originally posted by wildlife123:Wearing specs. dont like it. anyway to regain back gd eyesight?
no. only when change specs.Originally posted by wildlife123:gd news. keep it up. do you visit the optician frequently for degree checking?
mine is opposite. the more i wear, the more i rely on specs and it gets worse and worse. sadly my lifestyle requires to wear most of the time, and i realise if i dun wear at the start of the day, i can see throughout the whole day. if i wear, the eyes adapt to the specs and everything become blur after i take off the specs. tat's it.Originally posted by polarsnake:No! you shouldn't do that.
