  Hi there. I'm not sure whether I really get what you are trying to say here but nevertheless. Here I am, to you maybe the first Muslim to condemn the terrorists on my own accord, but probably the "don't know how many millionth" out there. Or do I have to write to a newspaper to make it count? I'm pretty sure you did not only recently start to read newspapers right? Do you need me to get for you examples of Muslims condemning the terrorists in the newspaper?   The cartoons seemed to be pretty offensive. Like what many others had said, religion is a sensitive issue. Well, its only understandable they reacted as such. And this does not mean I am protecting or defending them. Just because they protest and defended the religion as such, which I believe they have their own personal reasoning to do so, that does not automatically makes them a true blue Muslim. In my eyes as a fellow Muslim, I do think they over-reacted. Innocent people should not be kill as such. Find me a line in the Quran that says INNOCENT PEOPLE shall be killed due to some offensive cartoons towards Islam. Like I said so many many times. Try not to wrong the teachings of the religion. Its the people. If you know more about the proper teachings of the religion you will understand what I am trying to say.

  Tell you the truth, in my natural reaction to this post of yours, I'm offended but it is ok. I'm sure you have your reasons for posting as such. Or maybe I misunderstood You can try to debate. Maybe I can try but I admit, I am not that good a Muslim to answer certain queries you have. Try the Islam forum board, but since religion is a sensitive issue try not to post in a provocative manner. Maybe my knowledge of Islam would improve too if I read your debate with Muslims.

  but how many of us actually follow our own teaching religiously?
  i can tell you the percentage is almost zero
  
  so when a person come up to me and ask me to join his or her religion, i will ask them 1 simple question
  
  "Does your religion teach you to respect other religion"
  
  If the answer is yes, then i ask them why the hell are they preaching then
  
  If the answer is no, then i will tell them "Good, now i know that your religion does not deserve any respect"

  i think that the terrorist give a terrible name to islam. however, the haters that r out there shouldnt be depicting the beloved prophet as a deranged terrorist.

  I was a irritating christian cos when i was in chc i got to call ppl to come for cell grp (once a week at someone's hse) and svc. Sometimes, while calling i'll feel bad cos i'm trying to push up the attendance and i'm not doing it willingly. If i dont do it, the leader will ask why didn't call?
  
  After i left chc, went to another church. They are not so forceful (like chc), they are much more relax and I got more time doing my own things.
