I remember this article in the newspapers where a Buddhist monk was interviewed. I shall now attempt to answer all this once and for all...
Don't blame the Christians for trying to convert you guys. They are doing it out of care and concern.
But the way they evangelise...might not always be right.
By saying that you will go to hell if you are not a Christian...you are simply instigating fear into the person to make him become a Christian. It is like pointing a gun at a person and saying "Be a Christian or die". It is not right!
Our God is a faithful, kind, caring, loving God. He loves you very much and so does not want you to be scared of him.
People should evangelise FOR God and not AS God. Do not say things to offend others, and if you are not sure, don't evangelise. Check the Bible first before saying anything. Quote verses if possible.
It totally doesn't matter what kind of Christian you are, be it Catholic, Anglican, Evangelist, Presbyterian, Protestant, so long as you "Obey the Lord with all you heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind" and "Treat thy neighbour as thyself".
Do not PESTER others to come to church. It is their desicion whether they want to accept Jesus or not. God gave humans the gift of will. It is your prerogrative whatever you want to do.
Whatever it is, let this matter not split us apart. Together we are Singaporeans, whether Buddhist, Christian, Hindu or Muslim. That is what racial harmony is.
Chill out, yeah? The next time someone pesters you to be a Christian, just tell him firmly, NO. A real friend won't force you to do things you don't want to do.

i had a very scary experience last time! i was reading newspaper waiting 4 a fren then got 2 guys. bowl hair cut, and i do mean BOWL hair cut. and super nerd specs and lots of pimples and some dirty shirt. plus they wear shorts and those high cut socks....
then they come sit beside me...I was reading the newpaper sports section i still remember...its just the day when chelsea beat barcelona inthe champions league. then one of the guy say 'hi, u watch soccer oso?' then he say he like to watch soccer oso and he support chelsea then blah blah blah. then im like oh..ok
then he showed me this little booklet with primary school kids illustrations. it has some cheesy drawings showing how jesus send those non-believers to hell. then i look in his face, realli like those psycho kia in the movies man!!!! then i say uhhh nonono sorry manz but im not interested. then they go away hook up other ppl le...

Yeah, these christians are a threat to world peace. Trying to convert you at bus stops and MRT stations today, pastors holding concerts tomolo, what next? I'm sure they are the ones destroying embassies and killing Danish... They are evil personified!!! They rape gals in Indon, kill americans, crash planes into american buildings and offer money for killing infidels!!! I'm sure these evil christians are a REALLY REALLY BIG PROBLEM in the world!!!

I am quite disturbed by the mockery at Christianity found in this forum and other local forums. It shows that Singaporeans hate Christianity. That is very different compare to Americans. As true Christians, we have to defend evangelising.

nowadays they feel that their 'job' is much harder because they cannot burn 'heretics' at stake, so cannot force people to believe anymore, then they start acting totally spaz. luckily not all xtians are like that.
