Poly & JC students dont know life of outside school

being in sch and in work are 2 different stories
in school, we can afford to argue with the teachers, lecturers if we are not happy about it.. we get more break times and lots of friends, no need to work yet have pocket money to spend...you can vent your frustrations on your friends or talk to them
in work, there is little arguement, lots of arguement and you're out of job, you can only nod your head, but not shake your head..take orders and do as your management says, getting builled from the people on top by overloading you with work, and eating snake themselves..the money that you earn goes to your parents, the upkeep of your family thus when you work, you don't get to spend the money you earn, you have little ppl to share your woes with, nor can you find a proper channel for you to vent your frustrations on..
so does it really matters to those ignorant spoilt brats??
being able to study is a blessing...
coming out of society means to support ourself...which is a task that average kids don't know the feeling thus they spend money like no other business..thinking money is easy to earn... -

aiya... never mind one lah... they'll learn it eventually as their lives progresses. It's only a matter of their rate of learning these things and acquiring these skills. Whether they're slow or fast... But I'm sure that eventually, they'll know, and also understand the world better...

usually the jobless vent their inadequacies onto the youth today, because they can't take the sight of them spending money without working.
wake up and smell the roses, the kids are not obliged to be living like you.They will learn in their own time, so give them a break and go get employed or improve your career standing. -

the best way to know what life is about is to study overseas and alone. that way you are forced to learn to take care of yourself and deal with all sorts of situations since life overseas will not be as easy as in singapore. of course, this choice may make some and break others

IMO these student think they know everything until they step outside to NS or working they will realise that they know nuts. To them, they doing part time job means = work expereince or expereinced the world. It is just nuts
All that airs they put on in their school . They will be about to lose it soon and become more humble as they grow older . They soon realise Life is a box of chocolates, you may never know what you get.

Its not that schoolers know nuts, everybody, including you and me takes time and experience to learn and mature. Its normal.

we study is to get that piece of paper than get us better job in the furture, who cares what course u study as long as u have that paper u are better off outside.

Hmm. Maybe to a certain extend true, afterall it's the no-income group with low responsibilties, what do you expect?
Anyways, it's supposed to be the so-called best education around, so let's not complain since perfection don't quite exist.
Maybe we can only comment what we know about life after ours is ending. Afterall you never know how much you know, or how much you will know.

come on la, give them a break, they are still learning. everyone goes thru the same phase... just becoz u are ahead of them now, doesn't give u the right to say they are naive and stuff...it's becoz of ****ers like u, trying to act big all the time that makes life for the younger ppl difficult... piss off!

Everyone knows that study and work are different. Each face different troubles and setbacks.

You are supposed to help the younger ones learn about life. Stop whinning and start doing some proper stuff.
