I understand why you feel put off by Glen's actions. However IMO your arguments are based on speculation. Nobody knows what happened in the marriages. We're strangers! What we learn from the media is hardly enough to make judgements.
Another point I strongly believe is that everyone has a right to celebrate "Seconds". Even if we assume Glen screwed up in his first marriage, he still deserves to be happy in his next. He has a right to be proud of it and celebrate it if it is working out. One cannot carry the burden and guilt of a past failure his whole life.
And lastly, IF Kate were really hurt by Glen's "insensitive" remarks..... then I think she has issues that should be resolved. yes yes, this is probably his second chance at marriage. one thing i do not understand is, why cant we give people a second chance at life? i mean so what if he screwed up his first marriage.
even if he is glorifying his current relationship, and in doing so, allows others to think that he's a very devoted guy, what wrong is there in that? why can't people think of it as an "awakening" or a second shot at a marriage that would work better than the first one?
think about this, he messed up in his first chance. since he's doing well now, isnt it great that he is able to pick himself up from his first marriage, learn from his mistakes, and make a second marriage more succesful? i say we give that man a break, if he screws this one up, then we should shoot him up down left right. lol, jamie prolly woulda had a better chance with me

would you rather see the one you love being happy, or be with the one you love, and your loved one is not happy being with you, which in this case, you are being selfish. -

i just dont see how its wrong for him to want to cover up his past, afterall, the past is the past and its the future that we are all interested in. i will not disagree with you if he straight up is trying to hide the fact that he is divorced when being confronted. however, as i believe these are just casual and average over the counter chats, i dont think we need to think too deeply eh? -
