  Not everyone is good at DNT...it takes a certain level of talent to excel in it...

  first of all, nobody said "JC ppl" are clever, "poly ppl" are stupid... its all in ur mind...
  whoever said this is making a sweeping statement anyway... there is no "ALL"
  but i can say on average, JC ppl are more academically inclined then the rest, becoz their O lvl results says so...
  anyway, so what if all JC ppl are clever? CLEVER is not = to success
  look at those successfull ppl, there are cases of vv successfull ppl with only PSLE education.

  I don't see anything wrong with D&T and Combined Sciences. Maybe they were just not inclinced in those fields. There are people who do well in the arts stream as well, and turned out to be good lawyers and what's not.
  It doesn't take just pure sciences to excel, the society runeth not solely on them.
  
  Besides that, most jcs accept students who score 20 points for L1R5, as long as they pass english and are talented/gifted in any areas to bring the school some annual glory. Now, how can all JC students be clever?
  
  Yes, indeed very much so it is an elite education - supposed to sieved the potential expats.
